Kea is deeply depressed when she gets an epiphany in 1980; she is going to build an ark. Not Noah´s ark, but Kea´s ark. With this glimmer of hope in the darkness, Kea starts to collect material for the ark from abandoned industrial landscapes. The ark is going to be her escape from the forthcoming system collapse.
”Kea´s ark” is a reality inspired graphic novel, a work in progress. The prints shows a selection of artwork from the book.
Hanna Gustavsson -born 1985, queer artist/graphic novelist, lives in Stockholm.
